What is the biomass mark?

The Biomass Mark is a symbol for environmental products that have been inspected and certified by JORA (Japan Organic Resources Association, a general incorporated association) for utilizing renewable biomass resources and conforming to related laws, standards, and norms concerning quality and safety.
Environmental products that utilize biomass are effective in reducing CO2 emissions compared to conventional products. Furthermore, the sustainable use of biomass contributes to the recycling of resources in local communities, leading to the prevention of global warming and the contribution to a circular society.
