Personal Information Protection Policy
As a company forming various business models, we handle a large amount of information and take utmost care with our clients' confidential information.
We strongly recognize the importance of personal information protection and consider it our social responsibility to handle and protect it appropriately. To this end, we have established and implemented a compliance program for personal information protection, undertaking the following initiatives.
1. Regarding the Acquisition of Personal Information
- When collecting personal information, we clarify the purpose, obtain consent from the individual through lawful and fair means, and do not use the information for purposes other than those intended.
2. Regarding the Use of Personal Information
- We use personal information within the scope of the purposes indicated at the time of acquisition and only to the extent necessary for business operations.
- When jointly using personal information with third parties or outsourcing its handling to third parties, we conduct strict investigations and provide appropriate supervision to ensure confidentiality.
3. Regarding the Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
- We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
・When we have obtained your consent
・When necessary to protect life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult
・When outsourcing the handling of personal information to third parties within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purpose
(We carefully select contractors, including overseas entities, and conclude contracts concerning the handling of personal information to prevent leakage, loss, or alteration of personal information
and provide supervision and guidance to contractors as necessary.)
・When providing personal information due to business succession through mergers or other reasons
・When permitted by laws and regulations
4. Regarding the Management of Personal Information
- We maintain the accuracy of personal information, manage it securely, and prevent external leakage.
- We implement appropriate information security measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, and other risks to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information.
5. Regarding Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, and Deletion of Personal Information
- We recognize that individuals have the right to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of their personal information, and we promptly respond to such requests without objection.
6. Regarding Organization and Structure
- We establish a personal information protection management system and implement proper management of personal information.
- We provide training to executives and employees on personal information protection and proper management methods, ensuring appropriate handling of personal information in daily operations.
7. Regarding the Formulation, Implementation, Maintenance, and Improvement of the Personal Information Protection Compliance Program
- To implement this policy, we formulate a personal information protection compliance program, ensure thorough awareness among our executives, employees, and other stakeholders, and continuously implement, maintain, and improve it.
