Due to the global semiconductor shortage, the production of electronic devices such as smartphones and home appliances decreased. Additionally, the resurgence of COVID-19 infections in Southeast Asian countries made it difficult to procure parts and materials under adverse conditions.
However, due to the increased sales of high-value existing and new products and the results of sales promotion activities utilizing information sharing with overseas bases, sales and profits of major products exceeded those of the same period last year. In particular, sales to the automotive, electronic components, and electronic equipment industries in overseas markets, mainly in Europe and Asia, increased.

In the Data Kitchen business, the use of 3D data in the civil engineering and surveying industries for i-Construction and BIM/CIM has increased. We believe that the technology we have cultivated since our founding has contributed to our customers and society. With the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation), the use of 3D data is expected in various industries and sectors in the future. We will continue to create and provide high-quality, high-value-added data to satisfy more customers.

At Kimoto Farm, the harvest of Mie Prefecture's Koshihikari 'Minori no Hyakunenmai' reached 244 bales, and this year's 'Minori no Hyakunenmai' has a high overall taste value, making it even more delicious. Additionally, we have started selling the sake 'Kai' and 'Ichi' brewed with rice grown at Kimoto Farm. The Kimoto Dahlia Garden cultivated 2,600 dahlias of 60 varieties, significantly surpassing last year, and they are blooming beautifully.

We sincerely ask for your continued support for KIMOTO.
