In the film business, we are committed to contributing to society with high value-added products, enhancing information sharing with our bases in North America and Europe, and expanding horizontally from the industries and applications (such as touch panels and smartphones) we have contributed to so far. As a result, the number of new adoptions has increased compared to the past, and this is reflected in the results. On the other hand, the impact of COVID-19 continues globally, causing disruptions in logistics and rising costs, as well as sluggish production of electronic devices and cars due to semiconductor shortages. Despite these headwinds, we will actively challenge new things.

In the technology development department, we have been able to increase profits by reviewing production methods that we have been working on for several years and building a flexible production system that adapts to various situations through multi-skilling. Currently, we are working on reforming the development workflow to significantly improve our development capabilities. We aim to develop more high value-added products and contribute more to society through them.

In the Data Kitchen business, we have been working to contribute to various industries, focusing on our core image technology. In particular, in the civil engineering and construction industries, the demand for construction using 3D data, such as i-Construction and BIM/CIM, which are national policies, has increased, and we believe we have been able to contribute to our customers through our data creation/editing technology. Going forward, we will continue to focus on 3D data, insist on technology development for quality improvement and high value-added, and further promote DX with environmentally friendly workflows.

At Kimoto Farm, we aim for coexistence and co-prosperity with the local community through social contribution projects, not only in rice cultivation but also through the dahlia garden, which was more bustling than usual, and new initiatives such as the sale of sake.

As we cannot yet let our guard down against the spread of COVID-19, our company prioritizes the safety and security of our employees and their families while conducting business, and we will continue to push forward with further reforms to meet the expectations of KIMOTO fans.

We kindly ask for your continued support.
