President and Representative Director Kazunobu Kimoto

It has been one year since I assumed the position of president.

Since assuming the position, I have visited 306 domestic and 55 overseas business partners to greet them. During this period, I received 1,450 business cards and had the opportunity to speak with many people, from whom I learned a great deal. I am very grateful to those who took the time to meet with me.
I am convinced that the significant improvement in our performance from the previous term's deficit to achieving a profit in the fiscal year ending March 2010 is due to the warm support from everyone and the efforts of our employees.
From my conversations with everyone I met, I felt that there are high expectations for KIMOTO's technology and trust in KIMOTO's quality. Encouraged by these two points, we will continue to challenge ourselves with new technologies.
However, we also received some harsh criticisms. The two points were that KIMOTO lacks a sense of speed and that information provision is insufficient. We are sincerely reflecting on these issues and are working on improvements.
At KIMOTO, we aim to leverage our unique strengths accumulated from our extensive track record while supplementing any lacking technologies or know-how through close communication with our business partners, with the goal of continuing for 100 years.
Furthermore, as a technology development-oriented company, we will boldly tackle the issues our customers face and strive to deliver high-quality satisfaction and joy to customers around the world as a global company. We kindly ask for your continued support.

September 2010
