President and Representative Director Kazunobu Kimoto

The new business year (Fiscal Year ending March 2013) has started. We look forward to your continued support.

Additionally, this month marks the third full year since I assumed the position of president.

Furthermore, KIMOTO will celebrate its 60th anniversary on July 2nd next month.

We have come this far under the banners of '100 years of continuity' and 'family principle,' thanks to all of you. We are deeply grateful.

Before I became president, the financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2009 showed a net loss of approximately 800 million yen.
Compared to that period, the financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2012 showed a slight decrease in sales compared to the fiscal year ending March 2009, but we were able to record a net profit of 760 million yen.

I am proud to say that this difference is the result of significant workflow improvements across the entire company over the past three years, with efforts from all departments, including technology, sales, and management.

The decrease in sales is the result of shifting our focus to our own products, reducing simple trading activities, and considering the fundamentals of manufacturing.

We are aware of the temporary decrease in sales, but we believe that by concentrating our resources on the sales and manufacturing of our own developed products, we will be able to contribute more to you with many of our own products in the near future.

The 'Kimoto Farm Project,' which started as a social contribution program, is entering its second year. Continuity is important in agriculture, and as long as we have a factory in Inabe City, Mie Prefecture, we intend to continue this project.

Although these are very uncertain times, we will remain steadfast, not be swayed by every little thing, and continue to work diligently with our feet firmly on the ground.

We kindly ask for your continued support and watchfulness.
