Everyone, we look forward to your continued support in 2014.

　In April of last year, we opened sales offices in Seoul, South Korea, and Shenzhen, China. Unfortunately, at the end of last year, we had to close our affiliated company, Kimoto Poland.

　Starting in January of this year, we will open new sales offices in San Francisco, USA, and Suzhou, China. As the world has become more connected, the roles and functions of our overseas bases have also changed. Based on new ideas, we have positioned these two offices as global offices.

　*A global office is an office that is not under the management of a local corporation but operates as a stateless office. Necessary expenses are allocated based on the functions performed by individual employees, and the management organization for each employee also varies depending on their function.

　Looking back, there have been things we were able to adapt to and things we were not over the past 20 years. In 2014, we will strive to anticipate changes more than ever before and respond flexibly to many changes.

　This year's KIMOTO calendar is themed 'Before Dawn.' In terms of the economy, we created it with the hope that bright signs will begin to appear and a large sun will rise.
