Dear KIMOTO fans,

The results for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2018 were announced yesterday, January 29.

Thanks to everyone's support, we are pleased to report that we are progressing almost as planned.

Sales struggled due to a decrease of approximately 400 million yen in low-profit manufacturing products and purchased goods, but we compensated for this with high-profit products.
The effects of our steady sales activities over the past two years are beginning to show.
Regarding profits, our commitment to profitability in all departments is bearing fruit.

This fiscal year is the second year of the fourth medium-term management plan. Unfortunately, the previous three medium-term management plans did not progress as planned from the first year, but for the first time, the fourth medium-term management plan is progressing as planned for two consecutive terms.

As mentioned before, the current fourth medium-term management plan was formulated over more than three years by members under the age of 49 at the time, based on various logics rather than experience, intuition, or courage.
