It has been a year since the outbreak of COVID-19, but unfortunately, it seems it will still take some time before it subsides. We sincerely hope that you all remain healthy and safe.

The workflow reform (work style reform) that we had been advancing over the 10 years since 2009 was quickly caught up by many companies from early spring 2020. However, rapid changes sometimes come with side effects. By clarifying the side effects we experienced and the remaining issues, we hope it will serve as a reference for many of you. We are planning to publish a book on the theme of workflow reform by the time the cherry blossoms bloom.

On the 17th of this month, our founder Mr. Jin Kimoto will celebrate his 101st birthday.
Thanks to your support, we were able to rename the approximately 40,000 tsubo lake on the premises of our North American factory (Georgia, USA) to 'Lake Ujihito' with the permission of the U.S. Board on Geographic Names.
Having experienced World War II, he worked hard to remove the prickle that had been stuck between the U.S. and Japan, and eventually declared, 'We like the U.S.' In commemoration of his 100th birthday, we hope that his silent message of 'mutual understanding and peace' will remain at the lake for the sake of friendship between the two countries and for future generations.
 

The aerial photography-related business that we were involved in at the time of our founding has continued as a remnant fire despite its reduction, and has been reborn as a digital twin business. We are also acquiring advanced technology in collaboration with our local subsidiary in China, and we are pleased to report that we have established a foundation for continued profitability.
While improving the balance between film-centered material manufacturing and digital twin-centered immaterial manufacturing, we will strive to be a comprehensive manufacturing company that can proudly stand in a technology-centered world. We ask for your continued support.
