The earnings forecast announced on October 30 last year showed an increase in bothNet salesand operating income and ordinary income, and net income far exceeded expectations.

The main factors include the recovery trend in the film business market, particularly in East Asia, increased sales of high value-added IoT-related products, development of new applications, and productivity improvements through reforms in development and production systems.
In the digital twin business, the application of 3D modeling technology in new markets such as civil engineering and construction has contributed to profitability.
The KIMOTO Group, united as one, will further develop our current initiatives this term, and we have announced a full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2022, with a net profit of 730 million yen.

To alleviate the concerns of our employees and their families due to the spread of COVID-19, we continue to promote a work-from-home approach.
Despite focusing on a work-from-home approach, we have achieved faster financial reporting through further workflow reforms, allowing us to report our results to KIMOTO fans more quickly.

As we aim for 100 years of continuity, we will further advance our reforms, challenge ourselves with globally competitive products, services, and work styles, and strive to meet the expectations of KIMOTO fans. We kindly ask for your continued support.
