For the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April 2024 to March 2025),Consolidatedfinancial results were as follows.

In April 2024, a new management structure with three Representative Directors was launched, and the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 saw increased revenue and profit compared to the previous year. As we expect continued strong performance in the second quarter, we have revised our earnings forecast upward.

In the film business, sales of light-shielding films for electronic device-related products and Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Film for Industrial Use electronic components were strong, contributing to profits. Sales of automotive interior materials also grew steadily in Europe and the United States. During this quarter, we also exhibited at exhibitions in the United States and Germany. We will continue to expand worldwide.

In the digital twin business, as customers internalize the creation of BIM/CIM models, orders for existing work in the construction industry are stagnant, but new projects such as joint cable conduits are increasing. Additionally, by advancing the development of model creation support tools, we aim to acquire new customers in the future. On the other hand, in manufacturing DX, we continue to expand 3D-related services and data utilization proposals, and are advancing proposals for manufacturing plants. Furthermore, we are promoting worldwide expansion, focusing on the construction industry.

In the Technology Headquarters, we are steadily advancing workflow reforms to build an efficient development system, aiming to quadruple the output (number of commercialized developed products). We will continue to pursue technical reforms in new product development and manufacturing, enhancing productivity and increasing high-value-added products.

In addition, in preparation for a new stage, we moved our head office from Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture to Inabe City, Mie Prefecture on July 1. By consolidating functions at our main production bases, we have strengthened our system to adapt to the worldwide market as a technology-development company by streamlining information sharing and speeding up product development and production. In addition, we are deepening our ties with the local community, including the farm business, and this year we held the 18th KIMOTO Cup (Youth Baseball Tournament) inMie Plant. We hope to continue to develop together with the local community.
