Consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April 2024 ~ March 2025) are as follows.
Unit: million yen
Consolidated Earnings Operating income Ordinary Income Net income
Fiscal year ending March 2025 11,294 1,340 1,378 989
FY2024 9,910 214 408 335

It has been one year since we transitioned to a new management structure with three Representative Directors in April 2024.

Consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2025 exceeded initial expectations despite the uncertain business environment.

In the film business, sales of light-shielding products, adhesive products, and blasting products, mainly high-value-added products, such as components for transportation and telecommunications equipment and process materials used in manufacturing processes, drove earnings throughout the fiscal year. We will continue to develop high-value-added products and develop new markets and applications in anticipation of further growth worldwide.

The digital twin business struggled as a whole due to the sluggish performance of BIM/CIM and LiD AR projects. However, orders for drawing creation work using point cloud data showed a significant increase. In addition, in the field of DX in the manufacturing industry, we achieved steady results through services such as the creation of 3D models, the provision of management systems, and the visualization of the site, and it was a period in which we received a positive response for the next development.

In the fiscal year ending March 2025, the Technology Division has achieved productivity improvements by promoting DX at its plants. We will continue to aim for further productivity improvements. In addition, with the aim of further enhancing the output of new products, we are reviewing the entire development work process, including design and testing work, and are continuously promoting workflow reforms. Following the relocation of the experimental equipment to Mie Plant, we are also planning to relocate the equipment for the development of high-performance liquids from Saitama to Ibaraki Plant, which we aim to complete by June 2025. There are challenges with the new workflow, but we will work together as a company to quadruple output through trial and error.

In addition, for the work style reform that we have been working on for many years, we received the " NIKKEI Smart Work Awards 2025" Best Mid-sized Company Prize award sponsored by Japan Keizai Shimbun. It is very encouraging to be recognized in this way. Going forward, we will continue to take things for granted and promote reforms so that each and every one of us can shine in a flexible work style while utilizing internal communication tools. We will apply the experience we have cultivated to the consulting business and contribute to society by solving more corporate issues.

We would like to thank all KIMOTO fans for their continued understanding and support.
