What is your mission?

Our mission is to further advance significant improvements and reforms, and to expand the sales of Kimoto Farm as the sales owner.

While we have been advancing improvements and reforms, we will now re-examine various routine tasks from a zero-base perspective. I believe my role is to push forward without being constrained by convention, with everyone's cooperation. Furthermore, to expand farm sales, we aim to sell worldwide, using Singapore—where we held tasting events for our farm's new rice and yam—as a foothold, not just within Japan.
We aim to become a century-long sustainable company, targeting 10,000 KIMOTO fans (shareholders) and 100 million yen in sales for Kimoto Farm.

What initiatives will you be taking this term?

In the management headquarters, we see variations in workload and job personalization among individuals. As mentioned in our mission, to further advance improvements and reforms, we will share tasks that are dependent on individuals and eliminate situations where only one person understands the work. We plan to start reassigning roles, including changing responsibilities and adding deputy roles. We will work to eliminate workload disparities and average out the workload so that everyone can perform at 100% of their ability.

Organizationally, the management headquarters have been unified since the previous term, but in reality, it was divided into general affairs, human resources, finance, and accounting. This term marks the second year of the unified management headquarters, so we aim to share tasks within the management headquarters and truly unify it.

What is a work philosophy that you hold dear?

I have valued being 'sincere' to customers and colleagues. I have worked in sales for a long time, selling products as a manufacturer, but I did not want to sell anything that was not beneficial to the customers. I have always stuck to doing what I believed in.

After transferring to the management headquarters, the people I interact with in my work have changed from customers to internal staff, but I still hold the belief that I want everyone to do what I am convinced of and proceed with sincerity.

I want to be this kind of executive, and I want KIMOTO to be like this
Do you have a desire to

I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to become the first female director at KIMOTO. I hope to become someone who inspires female employees to fully demonstrate their abilities at work. Furthermore, I want KIMOTO’s technologies and products to benefit society, and to make KIMOTO a company that brings happiness to our customers, shareholders, and everyone in the community.
I want to make this a company where employees feel that although it is challenging, they should strive and take on challenges, and feel glad that they did.
