Q-1. Could you please inform us about the status of investments (capital investment, fund management, etc.) made during the fiscal year 2025?
A-1. Regarding our investment status for the fiscal year 2025, we carried out capital investment totaling 392 million yen in this Consolidated accounting period, with the main investment being the introduction of research and development equipment at the Ibaraki Plant. As for fund management, we prioritize financial safety and primarily manage funds centered on deposits and similar instruments. As indicated on the balance sheet, we manage assets including long-term deposits, but we do not disclose details of individual management activities.
Q-2. Regarding financial results briefings, while their significance for existing shareholders is limited as they primarily cover matters explained at shareholder meetings and previously disclosed materials, they serve as an important IR activity where management provides direct explanations, leading to increased awareness among new investors and providing materials for investment decisions. Therefore, should they not be utilized more proactively in the future to acquire new investors?
A-2. Thank you for your valuable opinion. Regarding the financial results briefings, since last fiscal year, we have made them accessible for viewing by the general public. We will continue to strive to enhance our information dissemination so that more people can understand our company.
Q-3. In comparison with approximately 4,000 listed companies in Japan, we would like you to quantitatively explain, to the extent possible, the benefits (shareholder returns) of holding our company's shares.
A-3. We recognize that our company's characteristics include a stable shareholder return and a financial foundation that supports business continuity. Even amidst changing business environments, we strive for stable business operations. In terms of shareholder returns, we achieved a dividend payout ratio of 55.6% for the fiscal year ending March 2026, and we have continued to pay dividends as much as possible despite past fluctuations in performance. Furthermore, as part of our growth strategy, we are engaging in new areas such as digital twins and DX. Going forward, based on the concept of "Sanpo Yoshi" (good for all three parties), we will continue to strive to enhance corporate value over the medium to long term while emphasizing a balance between shareholder returns, growth investment, and sustainable corporate growth.
