KIMOTO DX Seminar in Hokkaido Information

DXseminar_Hokkaido.jpg

No time to wait for DX! We will hold the KIMOTO DX Seminar in Hokkaido.

KIMOTO is a manufacturing company with film coating factories both domestically and internationally, and has two strengths: it specializes in creating high-quality, accurate 3D data using image processing and data processing technologies that have been cultivated since its founding. We have been leading the way in workflow reform for 10 years before the outbreak of COVID-19, solving challenges, and accumulating and sharing know-how through various system developments and the creation of ideas.

For the construction industry, we will explain the key points based on our practices and the latest examples of construction DX utilizing 3D data for efforts to improve productivity at construction and civil engineering sites. For the manufacturing industry, we will focus on factory DX aimed at "making the site easier" through operational efficiency and work style reforms, and the realization of digital twins.
This seminar will be a step towards promoting DX. We look forward to your attendance.

TIME TABLE

13:30-14:00 Keynote Speech ① Small Start for Construction Industry DX

Improving productivity is an important theme in the construction industry, but are you wondering where to start? In this theme, we will introduce examples using 360-degree images andARthat you can work on right away.

14:014:00-14:30 Keynote Speech ② Introduction to 3D Data Creation Services

We will introduce 3D technology services focused on quality and speed, including creating TIN surface models from drone or ground photography, point cloud display from laser measurement, and creating 3D models.

14:30-15:00 Keynote Speech ③ Numerical Mapping Using Point Cloud Data

When designing, you need plans and cross-sectional diagrams. However, have you ever been troubled by the lack of some drawings? This time, we will introduce the creation of plans and other diagrams from point cloud data provided by the client.

15:00-15:10 Break

15:10-15:40 Keynote Speech ④ Achieving Operational Reform with RPA

In recent times, when chronic labor shortages have become an issue, it has become essential to significantly reduce work hours. KIMOTO has been advancing projects for automation and labor-saving in technical, sales, and general affairs personnel tasks using RPA. "What is the keyword for success?" We will introduce based on examples of success and failure.

15:40-16:20 Special Lecture: Work Style Reform Succeeds with Decluttering

KIMOTO, a manufacturing company with a history of more than 70 years, has fallen behind the wave of the Internet era and has worked together to reform its workflow in response to the issues accumulated by continuing to work with expired expiration dates. We have adopted the concept of "decluttering" and promoted DX. In this lecture, I will share some tips for DX success that I have gained through my actual experience of reform.

Manufacturing Industry DX 2023.10.12 13:30 - 16:20 (Reception starts at 13:00)

Access Chitose Arcadia Plaza, 3rd Floor, Training Room

Price: ¥5,000 (tax included)

Recommended for the following people

Interested in learning about DX initiatives in manufacturing / I want to eliminate the dependency on individual employees
Want to reform current workflows / Concerned about how to proceed with work style reform

TIME TABLE

13:30-14:00 Keynote Speech ① Factory DX: The First Step to Making Work Easier

Are you aware of paperless initiatives leading to Factory DX? Digitization is not DX. To 'ease on-site work,' we change workflows and build DX systems in-house. We will introduce efforts where paperless, tablet operation, automation, etc., are integrated, based on examples of success and failure.

14:00-14:30 Keynote Speech ② The Future of DX as Envisioned by 3D

By digital twinning factories and utilizing 3D models, we can address manufacturing challenges such as improving productivity, reducing manpower, and lowering environmental impact in 'equipment management,' 'education,' and 'simulation' fields. We will focus on the appeal and potential of 3D in the manufacturing industry's DX and introduce future prospects.

14:30-15:00 Keynote Speech ③ Small Start for DX Using 360° Images

Are there cases where information sharing does not work well in equipment maintenance, asset management, safety and health, and technical succession, leading to personal dependency and a lack of educational effect? We will introduce examples of solutions that can start immediately by utilizing 360° images for items that tend to be postponed in DX.

15:00-15:10 Break

15:10-15:40 Keynote Speech ④ Achieving Operational Reform with RPA

In recent years, chronic labor shortages have become an issue, and it is essential to drastically reduce work man-hours. KIMOTO has been working on automation and labor-saving projects using RPA in engineering, sales, general affairs, and human resources. "What are the keywords that lead to success?" based on successful and unsuccessful cases.
