Announcement of KIMOTO DX Seminar in Tokai 2023

No time to wait for DX! KIMOTO DX Seminar IN Tokai will be held.

KIMOTO is a manufacturing company with film coating factories both domestically and internationally. Since its founding, it has excelled in creating precise, high-quality 3D data using image processing and data processing technologies. We have been proactively working on this for the past 10 years, even before the COVID-19 pandemic. Workflow reform (work style reform) We have been proactively addressing these challenges, accumulating, sharing, and utilizing our experiences in creating various systems and ideas as know-how.

For the construction industry, we will explain the key points based on our practices and the latest examples of construction DX utilizing 3D data for efforts to improve productivity at construction and civil engineering sites. For the manufacturing industry, we will focus on factory DX aimed at "making the site easier" through operational efficiency and work style reforms, and the realization of digital twins.
This seminar will be a step towards promoting DX. We look forward to your attendance.

Keynote Lecture ① Small Start for DX Using 360° Images

Are there cases where information sharing does not work well in equipment maintenance, asset management, safety and health, and technical succession, leading to personal dependency and a lack of educational effect? We will introduce examples of solutions that can start immediately by utilizing 360° images for items that tend to be postponed in DX.

Keynote Lecture ② Factory DX The First Step to Making the Workplace Easier

Are you aware of paperless initiatives leading to Factory DX? Digitization is not DX. To 'ease on-site work,' we change workflows and build DX systems in-house. We will introduce efforts where paperless, tablet operation, automation, etc., are integrated, based on examples of success and failure.

Theme Lecture 3: The Future of DX as Envisioned by 3D

By digital twinning factories and utilizing 3D models, we can address manufacturing challenges such as improving productivity, reducing manpower, and lowering environmental impact in 'equipment management,' 'education,' and 'simulation' fields. We will focus on the appeal and potential of 3D in the manufacturing industry's DX and introduce future prospects.

Keynote Lecture ④ RPA for Realizing Operational Reforms

In recent years, chronic labor shortages have become an issue, and it is essential to drastically reduce work man-hours. KIMOTO has been working on automation and labor-saving projects using RPA in engineering, sales, general affairs, and human resources. "What are the keywords that lead to success?" based on successful and unsuccessful cases.

Special Lecture: Work Style Reform Succeeds with Decluttering

KIMOTO, a manufacturing company with a history of more than 70 years, has fallen behind the wave of the Internet era and has worked together to reform its workflow in response to the issues accumulated by continuing to work with expired expiration dates. We have adopted the concept of "decluttering" and promoted DX. In this lecture, I will share some tips for DX success that I have gained through my actual experience of reform.

Theme Lecture 2: Introduction to 3D technology services

We will introduce 3D technology services focused on quality and speed, including creating TIN surface models from drone or ground photography, point cloud display from laser measurement, and creating 3D models.

Keynote Lecture ③ Numerical Mapping Using Point Cloud Data

When designing, you need plans and cross-sectional diagrams. However, have you ever been troubled by the lack of some drawings? This time, we will introduce the creation of plans and other diagrams from point cloud data provided by the client.

Technical Lecture: Autodesk Work Tool Development

It is important to use the right work tools to improve work efficiency. For many years, KIMOTO has developed and used Autodesk's work tools in-house. On the day of the event, we will introduce how work efficiency has been improved based on examples.
