We are pleased to announce that we have won Best Mid-sized Company Prize at NIKKEI Smart Work Awards 2025, which recognizes leading companies that are achieving sustainable growth through work style reform.

The NIKKEI Smart Work Awards are based on the NIKKEI Sustainable Management Survey, Smart Work Edition, conducted among all listed companies and major non-listed companies. An external judging committee (Chairman: Atsushi Seike, President of the Japanese Red Cross Society) comprehensively evaluates management capabilities that aim to maximize the utilization of human resources, accelerate investment in human capital, generate new innovation, enhance productivity, and maximize corporate value, selecting excellent companies that will lead the next generation. In addition to the Grand Prize, a Special Jury Prize is awarded, and category prizes are established for Human Resource Utilization, Human Capital Investment, and Technology Utilization. Starting this time, a Best Mid-sized Company Prize has been established to recognize outstanding mid-sized companies.

Reasons for the Award

The overall ranking earned three and a half stars (with a deviation score of 55 to less than 60). Despite approximately half of the employees being engaged in production and manufacturing, the company was highly praised for its excellent track record in remote work and for implementing a full flex-time system for all employees. Efforts to optimize working hours and prevent overwork were also diverse, and the company excelled in categories such as 'diverse and flexible work styles' and 'work-life balance,' leading to its award in the mid-sized enterprise category.

Our Initiatives

Since 2009, our company has been advancing various work style reforms, such as introducing free seating, free address, remote work, super flex (without core time), and a three-month flex system. These initiatives have removed restrictions on work location and hours, creating an environment where employees can choose diverse work styles while valuing the balance between work and life.
We aim to create a workplace where each employee can demonstrate their abilities, feel a sense of purpose and enjoyment, and thrive. Additionally, we incorporate numerous in-house projects and platform activities to provide opportunities for employees to take on new challenges. Furthermore, by utilizing communication tools, we ensure smooth access to information and create an environment where everyone can work while being mindful of their daily goals.

We strive to be a company where everyone can work comfortably and where diverse talents can thrive. We believe that efforts to generate new ideas and innovations will further evolve our corporate culture and strengthen our company. By breaking away from conventional norms, we will continue to advance reforms to ensure that each individual can shine within a flexible work style.
