Free seat/free address initiative
last timeKIMOTO's workflow reformIn vol.1, we removed individual desks and side desks,We've done a major office cleaning.
As shown in the picture on the leftIt becomes a space without walls,
It became a workspace that feels open.
In vol.2, we will introduce the next initiative we tackled, "free seating and free address."
The confusion of 2011: "Where should I sit?"
In 2011, we did not assign fixed seats and allowed free seating."Free Sheet" has been introduced.
Even when arriving at the office, there is no designated seat.
Today isWhere should I sit...?
The person sitting next to me changes every day, Every day is confusing.
Gradually, even in an unfamiliar environment, we were able to communicate with other departments.
At that time, the Wi‑Fi infrastructure wasn’t yet established, so all we could do was carry a PC around. "Mock free sheet"was.
2012 "Where is my PC? ”
By 2012, it was no longer necessary to have our own PCs.
This was because the "free address" system was established, allowing us to access our personal desktop environment as long as we had an internet connection.
Once the Wi‑Fi infrastructure was in place, we transitioned our groupware and order management systems to cloud‑based platforms.
Three years after starting the reforms, we felt that we were gradually approaching our ideal of a 'work environment where we can work anytime, anywhere.'
Next time: vol.3 "Abolition of business vehicles"We will inform you of this.
