Striving to Become a 100-Year-Old Enterprise, We are Advancing Workflow Reform.
"Shinjuku office relocation
In 2013, we moved from the old Shinjuku headquarters to the current Shinjuku office.
The new office is about one-third the size of the previous one!
This time, we will introduce the move to the Shinjuku office.
Moving = Improving workflow
The move to the current Shinjuku office was carried out during Golden Week in 2013.
Since the office space is reduced to about one-third, the amount of items that can be moved is limited.
Although the disposal of unnecessary items and digitization of documents had progressed with the introduction of free seating, there were still many 'things that needed to be dealt with.'
Additionally, after the move, complete free seating was implemented, necessitating not only the digitization of documents and materials but also a review of workflows and a shift in mindset to remove barriers between departments.
After the holidays, work started in the new office.
Initially, to avoid having 'fixed seats' in the free seating system, we were a bit intentional, but now we can freely change our workspaces according to the day's tasks.
"To a full-fledged free seat ”
Due to the relocation of the Shinjuku office,A full-scale free seating system has started nationwide.Virtualization environments are becoming more and more convenient.We can now work the same way in any office.
The removal of 'side desks' was carried out for the implementation of free seating. What we were able to discard along with the side desks was a lot of 'waste.'
Next time, we will present vol.6 'Headquarters Relocation.'
