KIMOTO Workflow Reform vol.6
Striving to Become a 100-Year-Old Enterprise, We are Advancing Workflow Reform.
"Head office relocation”
In July 2013, we moved our headquarters from Shinjuku toR&D Centerin Saitama.
One of the objectives was to consolidate sales and operational functions atR&D Center, which is a base for research and development, to improve the efficiency and speed of business management.
Renovating your workspace
Opened in 1962,R&D Center's building was aging and a renovation was planned before the head office was moved.
We wanted to create an office where many ideas necessary for development would come to mind! So, we designed the office while sharing opinions with everyone.
Rooms with lots of greenery and spaces where balance balls are used as chairs were transformed into not only functional but also 'free and comfortable workspaces.'
A major turning point in workflow reform
With the move of the Shinjuku office and the renovation of theR&D Centerin 2013, we have become an environment where ICT can be used effectively, and we have been able to work more flexibly.
Efforts to improve work styles have made it possible to use time and space more effectively through operational efficiency, changing our awareness of how we work.
Next time, we will present vol.7 'Towards New Ways of Working.'
