Simultaneous closure of elementary and junior high schools across the country
Thursday, February 27th. "From next week, March 2nd, we request the nationwide closure of elementary and junior high schools to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) infection." Such news came on TV while I was preparing dinner, making me stop what I was doing.
The next moment, I wondered if I could continue working as before. As a parent of two children attending elementary school and daycare, I found myself suddenly needing to think about various things, unsure of how to act to prevent this infection.
No longer working from home as usual?
Furthermore, my city has requested cooperation in refraining from using after-school care and daycare services.
